Nutty Vegan CBD Brownies
Vegan and gluten free? You’re not nuts! Unless you’re nuts about these gluten free and vegan walnut brownies. - ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
- ¼ cup almond butter
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup agave nectar
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 Fleggs (2 T of flax and 6 T of water [whisk together and allow to thicken 15 minutes]
- 1 tsp vanilla bean
- ¼ tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
- ¼ cup gluten free flour
- 1 cup walnuts
- ¼ cup vegan chocolate chips
- 3-5 drops Joy Organics Natural CBD Tincture
Preheat oven to 325°F and line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper.
Melt the coconut oil.
In a medium bowl, whisk together almond butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup and agave nectar.
Pour in the coconut oil and whisk until you have a caramel-like texture.
Add in the cocoa powder 1/4 cup at a time.
Whisk in fleggs, vanilla bean and sea salt.
Add in the gluten free flour and fold until well-combined.
Fold in the walnuts and vegan chocolate chips.
Lightly stir in the CBD tincture.
Spread the batter over the pan evenly and sprinkle walnuts and vegan chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out of the center cleanly.
